Coconut Macaroons

These quick tasty treats are yummy. Here is a chance for the kids to make a recipe for Mum and Dad.
INGREDIENTS
⅔ cup all-purpose sifted flour
5 ½ cups flaked coconut
¼ salt
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1.5 T pure vanilla extract
DRIZZLE
1/2 Cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or coat with a non stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, coconut and salt.
Slowly stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
Using an ice cream scooper or melon ball scooper drop dough on the cookie sheet. Cookies will be either be the size of half a fist or a golf ball.
Press down with your fingers slightly
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until coconut is a a light brown.
Cool the cookies completely
Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second intervals until melted
Place into a piping bag or plastic bag
Cut the tip and drizzle on the cookies.
Once the chocolate has set.
