Creamy Lobster Risotto



One of the best dishes I've had was in Vegas, "Lobster Risotto" from Gordon Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen restaurant. Hereis a Risotto Recipe you can make at home.


1 T extra virgin olive oil, (Light or smooth tasting)

1 T Minced Yellow Onion

1.5 Cups of Arborio Rice

3 cloves minced garlic

1/3 C White wine

4-5 cups lobster stock

2 T Mascarpone

2 T Cream Cheese

1/2 t Onion Salt

3 T unsalted Butter

zest of 2 lemons

1 T Tarragon

1 T Chives

1/4 cup roasted corn

salt & pepper

2 tablespoon chives


1 Med to Large Broiled Garlic Buttered Lobster


  • In a large pan over medium heat, add olive oil, garlic and onions. Cook until softened

  • Add the rice, cook for 2 minutes add wine.

  • Once wine is added cook for a least 1 to 2 minutes while stirring

  • Add 2.5 cups of the lobster stock, stir and cook until the rice absorbs the stock.

  • Add remaining stock a little at a time and let the rice absorb the liquid. i

  • Once the rice turns lighter in color or Al Dente continue to cook for 15-20 minutes.

  • Add the butter, mascarpone and cream cheese, lemon zest, onion powder and salt & pepper [to taste].

  • Stir well until all ingredients are well combined and thick.

  • serve and garnish with chives, tarragon, and roasted corn.

  • Enjoy!
