Guacamole Dip

Sometimes on game day we want to indulge into delicious foods that may contain fried or over fatty foods. This refreshing dip is a nice alternative or addition to your game day meal. (Who says you have to wait until game day)



INGREDIENTS

  • 3 avocados - peeled, pitted, and mashed

  • 1 avocado cut into small pieces - For a chunky texture add this step

  • 1 large lime, juiced

  • 1 t sea salt

  • 1 t cumin

  • 1/2 t garlic powder

  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped (Roma)

  • ½ cup diced red onion

  • 4 T fresh cut cilantro

  • 1 t minced garlic

  • 1 t ground cayenne pepper

  • 1 finely diced jalapeno (Optional)

  • Add 2 T of Sweet Chili sauce to add a suttle element of sweet and hot (Optional)


DIRECTIONS

  • In a large bowl add mashed avocados, lime juice, salt, cumin, cayenne, and garlic powder together in a medium bowl.

  • Slowly add tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and minced garlic and mix well.

  • (Optional - Add the Sweet Chili sauce)

  • Fold in cut avocado to add a chunky texture.

  • Top with pinch of sea salt and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

  • To keep it from turning brown add fresh lime juice.

  • ENJOY!
