Honey Bourbon Glazed Salmon



Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of local honey

  • 1/4 cup Aged Bourbon

  • 2 t soy sauce

  • 1 t onion powder

  • 2 t teriyaki sauce

  • 3 T of brown sugar

  • 2 T lime juice

  • 1 t fresh ginger

  • 3 whole diced garlic cloves

  • pinch of sea salt and pepper - Season according to taste

  • 4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets

  • Cooking spray

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced green onions

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

Directions

  • Add the first 11 ingredients into a mixing bowl, vigoroulsy stir.

  • Place the fish in a large Zip-Lock bag, and the above mixture and seal.

  • Place the Zip-Lock bag in a glass baking dish or plate and place in the refrigerator.

  • Marinate for 2 hours.

  • Over medium-high heat coat the bottom of the pan with cooking spray or olive oil.

  • Add the fish and the sauce into the plan slowly, careful not to splash and burn yourself.

  • Fry on each side for at least 4 minutes - (Cook until you reache desired texture)

  • Plate the fish and drizzled the sauce in the pan over the fish, top with green onions and toaste sesame seeds.
