No Roll Sugar cookies

These are a fun and simple cookie to make with your favorite little ones

INGREDIENTS

• 2 ¾ C flour

• 1 t baking soda

• 1 t cornstarch

• 1 t cream of tartar

• 1/2 t baking powder

• 1 C butter room temperature

• 1 1/2 C Sugar

• 1 Egg

• 2 T Vanilla extract (Clear)

DIRECTIONS

• Preheat the oven to 350 ( Some ovens vary according to altitude and therefore preheat to 375)
  

• Stir flour, baking soda, cornstarch, cream of tartar, and baking powder together
  

• Beat sugar and butter in a large bowl until smooth.

• Add the egg and vanilla.

• Gradually incorporate flour mixture.

• Roll dough into walnut-sized balls and place 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.

• Refrigerate for at least 60 minutes
  

• Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden, 8.

• Cool

• Enjoy

(For an added treat roll the cookie dough in cinnamon and sugar before baking)
