Peanut Butter Bourbon Pound Cake



Who says you have to drink your Bourbon?


Ingredients

Cake

  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 3 cups white sugar

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 package cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup of peanut butter Bourbon

  • 1 ½ cups butter

  • 1 T vanilla extract

Icing

  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar

  • 2 T creamy peanut butter

  • 5 T of Screwball Peanut Butter Bourbon

  • 1 T Vanilla Extract

  • 1 T melted butter

  • Dash of sea salt

    • Add water to thin out icing to desired consistency.

Mix the above icing ingredients together and drizzle over cooled pound cake.


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees .

  • Grease and flour a Bundt pan.

  • Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth.

  • Slowly add sugar until it becomes light and fluffy.

  • Add eggs two at a time

  • Incorporate the flour and mix until combined

  • Add vanilla and bourbon

  • Pour into a Bundt Pan and Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

  • While in the pan pour 1/2 cup of Peanut Butter Bourbon on the hot pound cake, it will automatically be absorbed into the cake - This step is Optional

  • Turn the Bundt cake over on desired cake stand.

  • Once turned out on a cake stand drizzle with icing.

  • Enjoy
